Bigboy Scooter Repair Manual

 All SAM's motorcycles and ATVs utilise highly fuel efficient eco-friendly 4-stroke motors and require Unleaded Fuel whether at the coast or inland. The D460 and D860 use diesel. Engine oil will be changed at the designated service intervals by the dealer, but if your bike is out of warranty you might want to do an oil change yourself. The recommended engine oil for all SAM motorcycles and ATVs is BBR 10W40 Mineral Oil (Not synthetic). Oil capacity varies from bike to bike and is stipulated in your user manual or on the side of the engine near the filler cap. Run the bike for a while before draining the oil from the drain plug. Make sure to replace the drain plug securely before refilling the oil. Check your User Manual to see where the drain plug is located. For Gearbox Oil, SAM's scooter range use 80W-90 Semi Synthetic, while other SAM models use 10W-40 Semi Synthetic Oil. SAM strongly recommends the use of good quality lubricants to assist motors to operate efficiently at higher temperatures. 
IMPORTANT: If low grade or incorrect API oil is used, you will experience loss of oil due to evaporation. 
Strictly as per agreed terms – EFT or Cash. Credit Card payment accepted by arrangement. Dealer may make finance application on behalf of the client however no item may be released without notification from the financial service provider to Big Boy Scooters Head Office. No Cheques accepted unless bank guaranteed or fully cleared. Motorcycle Registration Papers or NATIS Release forms may not be released to customer until payment has been made in full. Legal ownership of the goods will be passed to the purchaser once the dealer has paid Big Boy Scooters Head Office in full.
Upon taking Delivery of Motorcycle: Please ensure at point of delivery, motorcycle is 100% operational and free of any damages. Any non-operational items / damages, cosmetic or otherwise, must be documented on both the Dealers Delivery Note / Tax Invoice and Warranty book.
